Vet in a Van Pty Ltd, ABN 71 639 098 212, publishes the Vet in a Van Pet First Aid app and operates mypetfirstaid.com.au.
In this policy, we, us and our mean Vet in a Van Pty Ltd.
How the app handles information
The app does not require an account and does not ask for your:

- payment details
- information about your pet
- photographs, messages or files
We do not use advertising, behavioural tracking or user-profile services in the app.
All first-aid guidance is stored on your device so the app can work offline.

- is normally removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app

App launch list
When you voluntarily join the app launch list, we collect your email address so we can send you one email when the app launches.

Where an email provider maintains a suppression record to honour an unsubscribe request, that record will be limited to what is reasonably required to prevent further email.

We retain direct enquiries only for as long as reasonably required to respond, maintain appropriate business records or meet legal obligations.

Technical logs are retained according to the security and logging settings of our service providers. We configure these services to avoid unnecessary collection and to use the shortest practical retention period.
